CECE Event – It Takes a Village: Interprofessional Roles and Responsibilities in Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder

Rates of substance use disorders, including opioid misuse, continue to rise despite national initiatives. Because of this, 91Ö±²¥ÊÓÆµseeks to ensure that all relevant health professions know the fundamental elements of evidence-based Medication-Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder. This case-based interactive session will engage learners in developing an interprofessional work plan that provides comprehensive care for a person with an opioid use disorder.

Competencies: Teamwork, Roles & Responsibilities

Attendance to this event can be applied toward students' Interprofessional Honors Distinction/Badge.

This event was designed in collaboration with MAINE PCSS-U/SAMHSA Grant and the  91Ö±²¥ÊÓÆµCollege of Osteopathic Medicine
