Ali Ahmida interviewed by 'Jadaliyya' e-zine

Ali Ahmida, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Department of Political Science, was interviewed on July 17, 2013, by Jadaliyya, an e-zine produced by the Arab Studies Institute.  The interview aired on the radio station KPFA.

Ahmida spoke about the current situation in Libya and North Africa.  Topics included: the conflict between the weak transitional government and the armed militia; regional and other states’ roles; illegal immigration and border problems; and the lack of leadership in Libya and how it will affect the future of the country and the other states.

The interview, which is posted on the radio’s website as well as on the Jadaliyya site, has received almost a million hits world-wide.
