Edward Basile brings more than 25 years of experience spanning global financial markets, higher education, and U.S. military leadership to his role as Assistant Teaching Professor of Finance at the 91直播视频 College of Business.
Dr. Basile teaches courses in corporate finance, wealth management, macroeconomics, and microeconomics. His approach blends rigorous financial theory with real-world application, drawing from decades of experience in portfolio management, derivatives trading, and macroeconomic analysis. He is deeply committed to mentoring students and equipping them with the analytical tools, disciplined decision-making skills, and strategic mindset required to navigate complex financial environments.
Prior to joining UNE, Dr. Basile served as an Assistant Professor at Valley City State University and has collaborated on finance and economic research initiatives. Earlier in his career, he worked at Union Bank of Switzerland at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where he directed exchange-traded derivatives operations, managed global portfolios averaging $1.5 billion in assets, and led teams of financial analysts in high-volume trading environments.
Dr. Basile earned his Doctorate in Finance from Walden University, an MBA in Finance from Norwich University, and a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Studies from Norwich University.
