Dr. Jamal Akabli serves as an Associate Professor at King Fahd School of Translation in Tangier, Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Tetouan. With a Ph.D. in Art and Media, Dr. Akabli brings extensive expertise to 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵTangier's academic community. His interdisciplinary research spans Media Studies, Performance Arts, Postcolonial Studies, and Translation Studies.

 

A prolific scholar, Dr. Akabli has published numerous articles on music, cinema, theatre, and translation, while also translating significant works on performance. His editorial accomplishments include co-editing two important volumes: Across Borders and Thresholds: Performing in Zones of Contact and Friction and New Insights into Translation and Interpreting: From Theory to Practice. Dr. Akabli maintains active involvement in academic publishing as a member of the editorial boards of TDR Arabic and Confluence journals, among others.
